Marilyn Etchison
Marilyn Etchison received a BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University
and an MFA from Temple University, Tyler School of Art in printmaking
and painting, including graduate study in Italy. She is the former
Head of the Printmaking Department at the Indianapolis Art Center,
and adjunct faculty at the University of Indianapolis. She has taught
classes in intaglio and monoprint, painting, drawing, calligraphy,
manuscript illumination, faux finishes, art survey and women in
visual arts. She is currently working in multi-media formats of
etching, large-format graphite drawing, illumination and calligraphy.
Her work is represented in Indianapolis at the Basile Gift Shop
at the Indianapolis Art Center and The Bungalow in Broad Ripple;
in Iowa at Agora Arts in Decorah and Iowa Artisans in Iowa City.
She is a founding member of INprint.
