McLain Zywitis

Mclain Zywitis honors the paper's surface by blending printmaking with fiber arts. The Ulcer series inserts festering quotes into a playful space. The effect is in part achieved through Rostow & Jung's Akua water-based ink, a viscous and vibrant ink. Mclain received her BFA and MFA at Rochester Institute of Technology studying under Keith Howard. She now works and lives in Annapolis, Maryland
