Crackle Intaglio-Type

In Crackled Intaglio-Type, ImagOn Ultra is laminated to a plate, which is then heated without any exposure. Gum Arabic is brushed on the hot plate, which creates cracks. The plate is developed and ink goes in the cracks.

Variations:
A layer of ImagOn Ultra can be exposed with the aquatint screen to create a black background on which pieces of ImagOn Ultra are laminated for the crackling.
