Transfer Intaglio-Type

ImagOn Ultra is laminated to a metal plate and the protective mylar coating is removed. One or more photocopies are laid on the ImagOn Ultra and laminated to it by running them through a press together. After rubbing removes the paper backing from the photocopy, the plate is developed in soda ash solution. Dark areas of the photocopy are not developed.

Variations:
Laminating multiple layer of ImagOn Ultra to the metal plate creates a relief plate. The back could coated with packing tape so light areas of the photocopy could be chemically etched in Ferric Chloride or Edinburgh Etch.
