Wash-Drawing Intaglio-Type

ImagOn Ultra is laminated to a plate and exposed with an aquatint screen. Tusche is a liquid for creating an image on a transparent medium, such as mylar or drafting mylar. Tusche options include fluro masking ink or toner-tusche made by mixing Photo-copier toner into rubbing alcohol, Windex, Future Acyrlic Floor Wax, and water. This painted image is exposed to light to and developed.

Variation:
Direct Intaglio-Type applies the wash technique directly onto ImagOn Ultra’s protective mylar coating.
